Hi Goddesses
Sorry today is a late post, I'm a little behind schedule! Beth is having a sleepover for her birthday and I have 5 shrieking girls running all round the house .... please, pray for me.
There is something about swimming pools that is very cool artistically and very relaxing mentally. If I was clever enough, I would have done the reflection of the water on the walls - I always love the way the ripples catch the light and play around on other surfaces.
I also love the mosaic tiles around pools, and the mixture of white, aqua and mint. Again, something so soothing on the palate. I also loved this image I saw a few months ago on Sonoma Nail Art (great blog).
And then, just when I was debating whether I had enough patience to do this type of mani, my bottle of Floam arrived. The matte green and turquoise flakes seemed perfect for my theme, and I'd also seen Floam look great when stamped over.
So that's what I did. This is Konad m61 and a design which I thought would look more like tiles than it actually does. There's a little too much white for my liking, but I'm still liking.
Don't forget to check out all the other Purple Crumpet Fairies - everyone has done something really cool and different today.
Enjoy :) xxx
