Today sees the start of Celestial Cosmetics Week. Nicky was kind enough to send me 6 polishes for review, and without exception, they are all stunning.
Now, I don't know whether it is legal or even possible to marry a polish, but I would very much like to be married to a couple of Nicky's. Some of them - like Aurora - literally took my breath away. Not only that, they applied perfectly and LOOKED expensive on the nail. What's not to love.
I must admit, in the bottle, I harrumphed a little at this one. I'm getting a bit bored with duochromes, and not only did this have some toxic green stuff ruining the amazing purple, it was in a black base, which is my polish nemesis (can't get it to look neat and tidy to save my life).
All it took was one brushstroke on one finger to change my mind. Consider me de-harrumphed. This polish is EPIC, and just unbelievable and off the scale and to die for and ....
This is one of those VERY rare duochromes that shows you both colours at once. I can honestly say that at all times I was wearing this, it was equally green and equally purple. If ALL duochromes were like this, rather than settling predominantly in one state, I wouldn't be so bored with them.
The black base just adds to the drama. This is some electric galactic peacock we have here, equally toxic and malevolent, sinister and warped, bitter AND twisted. This is just a deviant's delight. Delicious.
