I seriously thought of sitting out this prompt on the #52WPNMC but I am determined to do every single prompt, so I sucked it up and here we are lol.
I started out with Barry M Mustard, a delicously interesting sludgey dark yellow, and originally intended to do a gradient using China Glaze Kalahari Kiss and w7 White.
In my head I imagined a sort of sandy sandwich, but the gradient was a disaster. Turns out Mustard + White = Kalahari Kiss. Yup. Well played.
So then I turned to striping with my cut-down striper brush. You'll notice some of the nails have a little "texture" - that's because I striped on top of my failed gradient. Yup, I was feeling lazy.
I can't really say this out loud, but I sort of like ths. The colours remind me of ice cream and butterscotch sauce mmmmm ... let's just not say the word "yellow", deal?
